Gasch and Associates (G&A) of Sacramento, California, licensed Version 1.0 of SeisOptŪ @2DTM during 1999. Since first licensing SeisOptŪ, their seismic business has grown significantly. As a result G&A has continued to upgrade to later versions of SeisOptŪ and purchased additional licenses as well. Their business increased to the point where they used Optim's processing services to process lines with several hundred shot points.
SeisOptŪ increased G&A's business to the point where they had a need for their own SeiswulfTM Personal Cluster SystemTM preloaded with
SeisOptŪ @2DLTM to meet their processing needs. This complete system allows G&A to process up to 300 shot points in a single run. Such capabilities allows G&A to win bids for large jobs by decreasing their processing costs and increasing productivity significantly.
G&A's SeiswulfTM Personal Cluster SystemTM consists of:
8-node PIII 850 MHz that can be upgraded to 24 nodes in the rack provided. Since the system is easily scalable G&A will be able to increase their processing capabilities as their business continues to grow.
